The Conrado H. Arriaga Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Stamford, CT USA with a community outreach program in Bansalan, Davao del Sur, Philppines.

In the year 2006, the Conrado H. Arriaga family joined hands when the growing number of indigents in the vicinity of Daang Palengke (Old Marketplace) could no longer be ignored.

The rapid growth of poverty and of social problems associated with it prompted CHAFI to develop Gulayan Sa Masa (vegetable fields for the masses), a small-scale green revolution program aimed to help the lowly residents augment whatever meager income they make from occasional daywork.

CHAFI believes that education, knowledge and awareness are essential tools that can improve the lives of the impoverished.

Later in the year, CHAFI launched its Literacy Program that placed the first batch of 27 pupils in a daycare and primary school. Several batches more are awaiting sponsorship and daycare center availability.

CHAFI envisions impoverished families of Daang Palengke acquiring the means to realize their hopes and dreams.
